How do I reupload my takeoff?

 

Once the takeoff quantities have been uploaded into the estimating software, via either import method, they will be marked as exported. This means that the item will be unable to be imported back into the estimating. This allows you to quickly import any additional information that might have been missed essentially safely with no risk of importing the same items again.

You can however change the status of the items that have been ‘imported’. This can be done by manually unticking the items on the examine grid at the bottom of the PDF Takeoff screen (this is recommended for specific items).

 

If there is a specific colour/service, or the entire list, that you would like to mark as un-exported use the ‘CLR GRID’ on the top toolbar. Simply press the button and tick what colour/service you want to reimport. This would require you to reopen the drawing on the PDF Takeoff if you are the SQL/SDF import method.
