How to install the EES Data Remote App

You can set up access to EES Data via remote app using the instructions below.

Please note you will need to contact our Support team to enter your credentials and complete the setup. 


Instructions for Windows


1. Open the Start menu and start typing to search for "RemoteApp and Desktop Connections". 

2. Click "Access RemoteApp and desktops".




3. When prompted to enter a URL, copy and paste the URL below.


Click Next, then Next again.


4. You will now be asked for your credentials. Please contact our Support Team to get your credentials.

When entering your credentials, make sure to include Cloudsoftware\ before the actual username.


5. Click "Remember me" when entering your password, before clicking "OK".


6. Once the connection has been added, click "Finish".


You should see the following options: Properties, View Resources, Disconnect, View Details and Remove. 


7. Click "View Resources" to view all available software.


8. To create desktop shortcuts for each software, right-click the icon and select Send to > Desktop.


9. Double-click each desktop shortcut to make sure they open correctly and that your credentials have been saved.


Instructions for macOS


1. Open the App Store and search for "Microsoft Remote Desktop".



2. Download and install the Microsoft Remote Desktop app. You will usually be asked for your Apple ID and password.


3. Open the app, click the "Add" icon (+) and choose "Add Workspace".


4. When prompted to enter a URL, copy and paste the URL below.



5. The URL will be checked and then some additional options will appear. Click "User Account" and then "Add User Account".


6. You will now be asked for your credentials. Please contact our Support Team to get your credentials.

When entering your credentials, make sure to include Cloudsoftware\ before the actual username.


7.  Click "Remember me" when entering your password, before clicking "OK".


8. When prompted for a "Friendly Name" we recommend entering "EES Cloud".


9. Click "Next" to add all softwares related to your account.


10. Check each software opens correctly and that your credentials have been remembered.
